Was any of the runners dressed up as an animal? "LOOK! THE BACTRIAN CAMEL GOT OUT AND IS RUNNING WITH US!"
I did see someone dressed as some kind of a cat, a tiger maybe. I suspect there were more, though the conditions definitely played against having extra ears and tails!
That day everyone was dressed as a fish.
